II. Structure:
2.1 Rewrite the following sentences after the model.
Model 1: They were not allowed to become partners in stock-broking firms, and they
were not allowed to be authorized dealers in stocks and shares.

be authorized dealers in stocks and shares.
Exercise: Change the following two simple sentences into a complex sentence by
